Not only will you immerse in the art and history of the city, but you’ll also capture its most genuine essence. You’ll thus stop to admire the magnificent Piazza Maggiore and the Two Towers, and drop by the university district to see the oldest university in the world.
Then you’ll get lost among the narrow streets of the colourful Quadrilatero market, where you’ll hardly resist the temptation to purchase some of the typical Bolognese products you can find on the stalls.
After a visit to the most ancient building of the University of Bologna, the Archiginnasio, our guide will take you to another significant street in the city, via Piella. Here you can see one of the canals still flowing underground through the famous finestrella (little window), and understand the role of water for Bologna, once home to an important river port.
